This week the whole College embarked on a range of fun and exciting activities as part of our annual Enrichment Week.

Early Years and Reception enjoyed meeting fluffy friends as part of a mobile farm and practising their balancing and control skills in a circus skills workshop. The Infants enjoyed visiting Harris Gardens and the lake at Reading University for a Nature Trail, where they identified flowers, trees and wildlife and walked four miles! They also had a Big Party as the pandemic has meant no Birthday parties this year and they enjoyed a visit from Dr Tiwari who talked about her job as a GP. The children learnt lots of interesting facts about the body and listened to each other's hearts with real stethoscopes.

The juniors thoroughly enjoyed visiting Legoland, where they developed their programming skills in a Lego Robotics workshop, showed off their History knowledge in a Lego Time Traveller workshop and enjoyed Lego Driving School. They also had a fantastic healthy eating day learning all about a balanced diet, where they worked hard to make their own fruit kebabs, chocolate and beetroot brownies and a pasta salad.

Some of senior school enjoyed a range of activities as part of their DofE bronze award including a two-day qualifying expedition leaving from Pangbourne and Dinton Pastures. Additionally, they took part in a range of team building and communicative tasks including katakanuing, canoeing, paddleboarding and raftbuilding, which all involved a lot of falling in the river!

Additionally, students enjoyed visiting a range of different places including Liddington, Oxford, Hampton Court, Rushall Farm, Wokingham Waterside Centre. Year 12 enjoyed a visit to Royal Holloway, University of London and took part in a personal statement workshop.
