Café Scientific talk with Old Broad Oakian Alba

We had the pleasure of welcoming Old Broad Oakian Alba back to the College to give an energy driven talk to our current students

With Geography & Physics playing a key role in her career, she returned to share her expertise on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in our Café Scientific talk.

From what they are to why they matter, Alba sparked some serious curiosity among our students, especially those in our STEM Student Extension Programme (STEP) and A-level Physics Q&A session.

Huge thanks to Dr Pellenc and everyone who joined! Who’s feeling charged up about renewable energy now?
