Three Old Broad Oakians Zoe, Oliver and James attended a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Celebration event at Buckingham Palace this week.
His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh gave a speech from the West Terrace congratulating the award holders for their success, resilience and leadership.
Throughout the day, there were speeches from celebrities such as Jermain Jenas, Ade Adepitan, Alice Beer, Kirstie Allsopp and Jon Culshaw as well as an opportunity to explore the Palace grounds whilst enjoying a royal cup of tea and cupcake.
Achieving a Gold DofE Award is a significant undertaking, and all award holders are invited to a celebration event. Others in this cohort will be attending later in the year. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement!
